Katie Whitbeck Global Explorers Intern
My interest in travel started at a young age from growing up in a family that traveled a lot both internationally and domestically. In high school, I had the great opportunity of traveling to Nicaragua and Mexico with my Grandfather, which further inspired my passion for travel and Central and South America. I currently attend Colorado State University, majoring in Business Management, with a passion for non-profit business. Last fall, I studied abroad on Semester at Sea which was an eye-opening experience that really confirmed for me how important travel is for everyone to experience. It also helped develop my passion for service abroad and the importance of understanding other cultures. Oh and I love to ski!
