Dr. Jeremy Dubin Medical Director
Dr. Dubin has been an outdoor enthusiast and an advocate for wellness and health since childhood. Raised in Philadelphia, PA, he spent many family outings exploring the Appalachian Mountains, running West Virginia’s rivers, and discovering what lies beneath the sea on the Jersey coast. Raised with the traditions of good nutrition, exercise, close family and integrity as the core of his life, Dr. Dubin has long endorsed the concept that our natural environment plays an integral and reciprocal role in preserving and facilitating wellness. Therefore, Dr. Dubin has an unquenchable commitment to education, health, and environmental conservation.
Dr. Dubin received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has traveled extensively throughout the South Pacific and the Caribbean, including French Polynesia, Fiji, and New Zealand. He later became a NAUI-certified SCUBA instructor, Dive Accident Rescue Technician, and certified teacher in Coral Reef Ecology in Boulder, Colorado and Cozumel, Mexico. His international travel experience and interests in preventive medicine and tropical disease led him to medical school in 1998. Dr. Dubin graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Family Medicine in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He currently practices in Fort Collins, Colorado. Dr. Dubin is married to Julie Dubin and has two children, Ben & Lily.
Dr. Dubin serves as an advisor to Global Explorers in the development and implementation of its health policies and procedures. His recommendations are based on evidence-based guidelines provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), as well a comprehensive list of other travel medicine organizations and resources. He is on mainland U.S. call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to any of our instructors, guides, and participants while they are traveling abroad. Dr. Dubin is an integral member of and contributor to the Global Explorers team and looks forward to answering any of your questions or concerns.
