Laura Quinn
Laura Quinn is an Assistant Professor of Communication at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She is also the Director of Leadership Programs at the Catamount Institute. Prior to joining academia, Laura was a Senior Program and Research Associate with the Center for Creative Leadership, where she facilitated and managed a variety of the Center's programs. Laura's research focuses on organizational issues related to sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and stakeholder relationships.

She also conducts research on the development of leadership capacities within organizations. Laura has presented her research at numerous conferences, including the annual meetings for the National and International Communication Associations. She has published in Business Communication Quarterly, Leadership in Action, and Management Communication.

Laura comes to Global Explorers with ten years experience in the hi-tech industry where she held various positions in the areas of finance, materials, and marketing. She has also been an instructor at the University of Texas. Laura holds a B. A. in business and an M. A. in Organizational Communication from the University of Colorado, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Communication from the University of Texas in Austin.
