Joshua
My name is Joshua. I am in the 9th grade and attend Quabbin Regional High School in Massachusetts.
The main reasons I signed up for this Global Explorers Leading The Way program were because I enjoy learning about different cultures, and have always wanted to travel to Peru. Also, I look up to Eric Whyhenmayer and see him as a role model.
I hope to get a deeper understanding of Peruvian culture, push myself to my limits and take the challenge awaiting me.
I also hope to gain many new friends, and skills that will help me through my life experiences. I know that this program will be arduous, but I am willing to accept the challenge.
In my spare time I read, take Braille music lessons, write, sing in my community choir, and hang out with friends.
