Meet Our Staff
Kaitlin Dunn Trip Leader and General Intern
Kaitlin grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and attended the university there, studying biology, environmental studies, and Spanish. During this time, she spent a semester in Costa Rica, where she fell in love with the Tropics and nourished her passion for travel, nature, and Latin American culture. The exposure to new places and people forever changed the way Kaitlin views the world and her place in it, and created in her an eagerness to learn about and make a difference in the lives of others. Since then, she has traveled to Europe, worked for several nonprofit organizations in Madison, and moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, where she gained the opportunity to work for Global Explorers and help others learn about the natural world, other cultures, and their own capabilities. Kaitlin is interested in tropical conservation and issues of environmental justice and environmental health in developing countries. In her spare time she enjoys reading, music, cooking, crossword puzzles, and doing anything in the beautiful outdoors of Colorado.
