Basics Tips Retail Events Random Fundraising Toolbox

You can raise funds for your international educational expeditions and we're here to help! Join us in our goal to have 50% of program fees come from group fundraising. Consider this online tool as a starting point for you and your group. Donate Now to Support Global Explorers

The Fundraising Top 10

  1. Adopt-A-Group: Ask individuals, business or foundations to support the costs of your nonprofit GEx Program using tools we provide.
  2. Personalized GEx Group Web Page: Send donors directly to your group’s Global Explorers donation page where they can make an online donation.
  3. Sell Coffee: Make between $4-6 per bag of Fair Trade, Eco-Friendly coffee sold.
  4. Best Seat in the House: Work with your school teams/clubs to design a couch that is the best seat at an event and raffle off the best seat.
  5. Movie Nights: Host a movie about the region to which you are traveling or about Global Explorers — we’ll give you the necessary materials.
  6. Concessions at Established Events: Host the concession stand at an existing event and earn the proceeds for your group.
  7. Raffles/Golden Tickets/Auctions: Get prizes donated to your group from local businesses and host a raffle, golden ticket award or live or silent auction.
  8. Wine & Cheese Social: Host an intimate gathering of potential supporters, make your pitch and let the donations roll in.
  9. Penny Drives: Go door to door asking to collect change from your neighbors towards your cause.
  10. Host a Tournament: Offer your community a fun tournament (e.g. bands, dodge ball), charge a fee, host a raffle and more.
