Meet Our Staff
Ed Shurna Director of Group Management
Having lived and traveled throughout a good portion of the United States, Ed had his first international experience recently, traveling with family to Nicaragua for a service project. From there he made his way to Guatemala for a Spanish immersion course and finished the voyage with a trip through Costa Rica.
The experiences gained during his Central American excursion were life changing. They made him realize his desire to expand his horizons and learn as much as possible about other people and cultures. The generosity, willingness to help others, and positive attitudes displayed by the people he encountered are values Ed strives to continue in both his personal and professional life. Although remaining positive is often difficult for him as he is a life-long, die-hard Chicago Cubs fan.
Aside from loving all things Chicago sports, Ed enjoys spending time with his friends and family and takes pleasure in the natural beauty Colorado has to offer. He plans on becoming an expert fly fisherman in the future. He lives in Fort Collins with his girlfriend and their two cats, George and Maki.
